Submitting a helpdesk ticket to your Appropriate Body

If you have a query that you wish to raise with the Appropriate Body you can do this through the Help and Support page, this could be a query about an ECT, about your induction, about ECT Manager etc

PLEASE CHECK YOU ARE ON THE CORRECT APPROPRIATE BODY SYSTEM BY CHECKING THE NAME ON THE LOGIN PAGE OR THE LOGO IN THE TOP LEFT OF THE SCREEN.

Click on the orange box titled 'Help & Support' in the top right of the screen.

It is always worth looking through the FAQs and Help Centre first as you may find the answers you are looking for in there. Click on these icons and you'll be taken to them.

If you do need to add a helpdesk ticket you can follow the instructions below.

Add/Submit a Helpdesk Ticket

Check you are on the correct Appropriate Bodies' version of ECT Manager. You can see this from the logo in the top left or by going to the Login page and checking the details of the AB.

Go to the Help & Support page (top right)

Click on the icon 'Helpdesk Tickets'

Click Submit a New Support Ticket.

Fill out the details. If it is a website issue you can copy & paste the web address. You can also upload an image or screenshot to the ticket or a file if that will help your Appropriate Body understand the issue.

Once saved, you will then receive an email with an issue number and support pin. You can use these details to view responses to your helpdesk ticket. There will also be a link to your support ticket within the email. You will receive an email when a response is sent.

Viewing a response to a Helpdesk Ticket

You will receive an email when a response is received.

Click on the link within the email to access your support ticket

If there is a response to your ticket you will see it under the Answers section. You can then respond again if you need to.
